VIKING TECH was founded in 1997 in Taiwan with the aim of being a leading company in the development and production of smd thin-tick film resistors as well as resistive networks, capacitors and inductors. Sensitive to today's market demand for continuous miniaturisation of passive components, VIKING TECH has set up a strong R&D team with the task of making the best use of thin-film technology. This effort has enabled the company to become a benchmark for the production of precision resistors, current sense and RF inductors.
This refined technical capability allows the company to produce resistors with very low tolerances (down to 0.01%-5ppm). Such an extensive product range has enabled Viking Tech to rapidly increase its global business volume: this growth, supported by a strong investment plan and acquisitions (such as that of TMTECH in January 2009), makes Viking Tech a reference for the design and production of miniature passive components.
